The Way Forward From Lynching: Complacency to Action
Sunday, June 6, 11:30 a.m.
Henry Banks, a longtime prominent leader in the African American community, will speak on the history of the 1920 lynching in Duluth, and the legacy that remains today. There will be time for questions and discussion, as we continue to develop our understanding of the challenges of racism and privilege in our community, in participation with Gloria Dei and the NE MN Synod.

This forum is a prelude the anniversary of the Clayton, Jackson, McGhie lynching the following week. On Sunday, June 13, at 11:30 we’ll begin a silent walk from FLC/Gloria Dei to the CJM Memorial, to hold a prayer service of lament.
