Story of Faith by Candy Madich
I was a very lucky kid. Raised by two parents of strong faith, church attendance was an absolute certainty. As a young adult I went through the common phase of frequent absence from church. Eventually, due to the influence of very dynamic pastors, I came back to regular church attendance.
Then came a move to Duluth, and a visit to First Lutheran, now my church home. From the very beginning, I was in awe of the church members who thought deeply about faith, read and studied the Bible, and so freely shared ideas, doubts and experiences, especially at Friday morning Bible study. These fellow Christians, solidly grounded in their faith, are mentors and inspiration to me, providing confidence for my belief in God.
Thank you, Lord for the people in our lives that fill us with inspiration and courage, as well as those people that question and doubt with us, then encourage us to grow and thrive. Amen
